FirstSearch
The FirstSearch Web interface is available to all UB faculty, staff,
and students. If you are on the campus network, you have access to
FirstSearch without a password. If you are accessing this site from
another network or Internet Service Provider (ISP) you will be
prompted for a username and password. Please enter your barcode number
(the number on the lower left-hand corner of your UB SUNYCard
that starts with 29072) in the username field and leave the password
field blank.
To Connect:
On connecting to FirstSearch, you will reach their introductory screen. From the list of
"Database Areas," choose "All Databases" to see the complete list of databases available
to the UB community and then make your database selection from this list.
