Digital Library Grants

Educational Technology Grants have been offered to UB faculty since 1999. In 2007 the program shifted its focus to the development of technology which helps faculty collect and manage digital assets for use in the persistence of their research, enrichment of their course content and teaching practice, and enhancement of the personal and collaborative learning space.

Proposals are sought for digital library projects that develop or promote innovative uses of technology tools, applications, or learning objects. Projects should facilitate collaboration and propose innovative directions in teaching, learning or research activities which target the following project tracks:

• Digital Collections and Archives
• Online Collaboratories and Content Management
• Digital Socialization and Web 2.0 Technologies
• Online Learning Spaces and Learning Objects
