If you own or rent property along the Atlantic or Gulf coastal states, one or more of these uninvited guests may drop in between June and November.

The names listed here belong to the group of 2004 Atlantic Hurricanes. Although you can't prevent them, you can protect your property by insuring against losses from coastal and inland flooding that these guests can bring.

Your homeowners insurance does not cover floods. Flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program does.
