ACLS Humanities E-Book
Description
A collaboration of prominent university presses, scholarly associations, and the American Council of Learned Societies. All periods and much geography are covered. The history of the United States is a major focus. Monographs were selected for digitalization on the basis of their recognized importance and record of heavy citation. The Project is a searchable collection of interrelated and interlinked scholarly books, including a frontlist of books first published in electronic format. From a base of 500 titles, about 250 additional titles will be added annually.
Dates Covered
Publication dates are relatively recent, but the chronology works cover extends from the ancient to contemporary worlds.
Print Counterpart
Perhaps without exception, the texts originally published in print format are available in the University at Buffalo Libraries. Consult BISON - UB Libraries Catalog.
