Description
Making of America - MoA contains primary sources in American social history (broadly defined) from the antebellum period through Reconstruction. Currently 8,500 books and 50,000 journal articles have been digitized. One may search a specific text or across texts and view material as text, pdf, or image. Pages can only be printed individually. Reprints can be ordered from the University of Michigan.
MoA is a collaborative effort of Cornell University and the University of Michigan.
