UB OnlyAllied & Complementary Medicine (AMED)

Description

The Allied and Complementary Medicine Database (AMED) is a unique bibliographic database produced by the Health Care Information Service of the British Library. It covers a selection of journals in complementary or "alternative" medicine, palliative care, and several professions allied to medicine, including acupuncture, Chinese medicine, chiropractic, herbalism, holistic treatments, homeopathy, hospice care, hypnosis, osteopathy, physiotherapy, podiatry and rehabilitation.

Leads to citations to journal articles on allied medicine and complementary medicine. Abstracts and full-text are provided when available.
