GeoRef was established by the American Geological Institute in 1966. It is the most comprehensive database in the geosciences, growing by more than 60,000 references every year. It covers geology, geography, the environment and related disciplines.

Contains leads to citations to journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports, and theses.

Dates Covered

1785 to the present for the geology of North America; 1933 to the present for the geology of the rest of the world.
