Journals@Ovid Full Text provides access to all the bibliographic citations available in the database, but full-text is limited to specific journals. Journals@Ovid consists of hundreds of scientific, technical and medical journals, 165 of which are full-text. Special features of this database include:· Limit to journal articles with graphics, or specific journal subsets. Specific journal subsets include: Behavioral and Social Sciences; Clinical Medicine; Life Sciences; Nursing; Physical Sciences and Engineering; and PsycARTICLES.
· Addition of classified advertising, announcements, abstracts of symposia, calendars, and corrections as publication types.
· Journal specific information may be found in the "About This Journal" feature, which includes instructions for authors, a usage statement and a journal description.
· Every word of every article in Journals@Ovid is searchable, including references and graphics captions.
Dates Covered
Journals@Ovid offers coverage from 1996 to the present for all journals, coverage of some journals dates back to 1993.
Print Counterpart
There is no print counterpart, however, the journals which are full-text are also available in print at the Health Sciences Library.
