Description
First published in the early 1970s, Encyclopaedia Judaica is the most authoritative encyclopedia on Judaism and Jewish life and history worldwide. Its well-over 21,000 entries, which conclude with bibliographies, are authored by Israeli, American and European experts. Two-thousand-three-hundred entries are new and 12,000 are revisions of entries from the earlier work. Among special features are copious charts, tables, photographs, and illustrations.
