MEDLINE (via OVID)
Description
Produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE is the premier database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and the pre-clinical sciences. MEDLINE uses controlled vocabulary, Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), for indexing articles and for searching MeSH indexed databases. Using MeSH to search will help to retrieve information that uses different terminology for the same concept.Leads to citations to journal articles from several thousand international biomedical journals.
