Description

Safari Tech Books Online provides electronic versions of the current editions of books in the areas of computer programming, security, artificial intelligence, computer applications, and related topics. Many books in the Safari collection are aimed at IT professionals although a wide spectrum of topics is represented.

Safari offers full text of more than 500 computer-related books with emphasis on these publishers: O'Reilly, Que, Sam's and Prentice-Hall. To retrieve the full list of titles in our Safari collection, from in Safari, chose the "my bookshelf" radio button (at the upper left) and click on "Go".

--IMPORTANT--

  • Some books in Safari Tech Books are NOT available in full-text, per our contract.
  • The University at Buffalo subscription LIMITS the number of simultaneous users for Safari Tech Books; if you are blocked from using the system, try again later.
  • The Safari Tech Books title listing was updated in February 2008. Some titles that UB formerly had access to in Safari are NO LONGER available.
