Searching Tips: Full-text searching can generate large hit sets. To limit retrieval, try the following which are all shown on the Advanced Search page:

1) Limiting search to a subject area such as agrochemicals.
2) Use the proximity operator. "EthanolNEAR/10distillation" searches ethanol within 10 words of distillation.
3) Change search field to Headings (section titles) or CAS Registry Numbers.

Note the handy Acronym Finder in the upper right hand corner. It searches a very large dictionary of acronyms from all areas of science and technology.
