UB OnlyWilson Biographies

Description

Wilson Biographies provides biographical information about more than 38,000 persons from a wide range of fields including writers, musicians, composers, film directors, and Nobel laureates. The biographies are searchable by name, profession, title, place of origin, gender, race/ethnicity, date of birth, date of death, and keyword.

Leads to full-text biographies from a variety of H. W. Wilson reference sources including Current Biography Yearbook and World Authors. Many of the biographies also include supplemental citations from Biography Index to update the articles.

Dates for source materials vary but people included can be from any time in history, antiquity to the present. Updated monthly.
