Description
Produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE is the premier database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and the pre-clinical sciences. MEDLINE can also be accessed via OVID and SciFinder Scholar search systems.The Web of Knowledge version allows ranked analysis of search results by author, Medical Subject Headings (MESH), publication type & year, and journal title. It also provides direct access to the Web of Science citation information for any MEDLINE article. MEDLINE uses controlled vocabulary, (MeSH), for indexing articles.Using MeSH in search queries will help retrieve information that uses different terminology for the same concept.
