Print/Copy Debit Cards
Q. What is a print/copy debit card?
A. With the adoption of the iprint@UB program, the print/copy debit card pays for printing and photocopying in the UB Libraries
Q. Who needs to use one?
A. You will need a print/copy card for printing from a Library Research Station if you are a UB Library guest (including alumni) or a UB student, faculty and staff member who has exceeded your print allocation. Also, anyone who prefers the convenience of a debit card for photocopying can use the print/copy card.
Q. Where can they be purchased? How much do they cost?
A. Print/copy debit cards can be purchased for $1 at wall encoder stations in the following places:
Architecture and Planning Library
Health Sciences Library
Law Library
Lockwood Library (in the Cybraries)
Music Library
Undergraduate LibraryBell Hall Lab 101
Diefendorf Lab 206-207.
The $1 payment includes a one-time $0.60 card charge and a $0.40 card credit. Wall encoder stations accept $1, $5, $10 or $20 bills. Additional value can be added to the card at a later time.
Add value to your print/copy card at a photocopy machine or at any wall encoder station.
Q. What about faculty? Do you still have a departmental account program?
A. Yes. If you need to charge copies to a departmental account or a research grant or need cash receipts, contact Library Administrative Offices, Room 434 Capen Hall (enter through the Undergraduate Library) for a print/copy debit card. Also, guest users can purchase debit cards with a company check or purchase order. Q. Can I still use my old VendaCard?
A. VendaCards can still be exchanged.
