Non-Roman Alphabetic Characters
Q. How can I adjust Internet Explorer to correctly display Web pages encoded in any language including those written with non-Roman alphabetic characters?
A. Most web pages contain information that tells the browser what language encoding (the language and character set) to use. If the page does not include that information, and you manually adjust Internet Explorer to the correct language.
From the Internet Explorer Web browser menu bar, select VIEW > ENCODING > MORE, then select the correct language.
Other Web browsers may use different menu paths or terminology. This adjusts the display on the screen to appear in the correct character set in which it was written.
Note: this is not a translation tool.
