Library Borrowing Privileges
Library borrowing privileges are available to currently enrolled University at Buffalo students and currently employed University at Buffalo faculty and staff. To receive in-person borrowing services from any University library, current students must have a UB Card.

Renewing Library Material
Library materials may be renewed an unlimited number of times unless requested by another reader. Renewals can be made either with the books or a list of barcodes along with your UB Card at any circulation desk, by fax, postal mail or going to My Library Card.

Telephone renewals are not permitted.
Overdue materials may be renewed by UB students, faculty and staff borrowers.
Course reserve material may not be renewed.
Not all material types are renewable; renewal will be at the discretion of the library unit.
Materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) must be renewed in the user's ILLiad account.
