- Kennedy School of Government Case Program: The Case Program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government is the world's largest producer and repository of case studies designed
for teaching about how government works and how public policy is made. These cases are intended to facilitate discussion-based, interactive learning about both policy issues and management strategies in the public and not-for-profit sectors. On the website, you can read descriptions of the Kennedy School's almost 1500 cases, as well as find guides to how to teach and learn by the case method.
- Enduring Legacies Native Cases Project, The Evergreen State College: The Enduring Legacies Native Cases Project, originally funded by the Lumina Foundation for Education, aims to
develop teaching resources and culturally relevant curriculum in the form of case studies on key issues in Indian country. Subject areas encompassed by the cases in the project's Case Collection include art, biology, business, chemistry, economics, education, environmental studies,
ethics, health, history, management, Native American studies, natural resources, political science, public administration, social work, sociology, and women's studies.
- The Electronic Hallway: Collection of teaching cases, exercises, role plays, workshops, and curriculum planning resources for faculty focusing on public adminstration and public policy.
- Institute for the Study of Diplomacy Case Program, Georgetown University: Georgetown's Institute for the Study of Diplomacy maintains a Case Study Center whose aim is to promote and distribute case studies among professional, graduate, and undergraduate schools of international affairs. There are two websites associated with the Center, one specifically designed for faculty (see http://data.georgetown.edu/sfs/ecase/) and the other for students (see http://www.guisd.org).
- University of California - Santa Barbara Case Website & Collection: Collection of cases primarily
in the area of international relations and political science.
Business
- Harvard Business School Cases: The Harvard Business School case collection includes over 7,500 cases.
- Stanford Graduate School of Business Case List: Listing of cases (many of which have teaching notes) developed by the Stanford business school.
- Darden Case Collection: The Darden case collection, maintained by the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, includes over 1000 cases. Abstracts are available and the collection can be searched by keyword. Cases can be ordered directly online.
- European Case Clearing House: Based on the campus of Cranfield University in the U.K., the clearinghouse maintains and distributes business cases developed by the Cranfield School of Management and the London Business School, as well as the business schools at Harvard, University of Western Ontario, and University of Virginia. The Web site provides telnet access to the COLIS abstract database, which can be searched by subject area.
