This belonged to Marion Birge and Mildred Rumsey during their girlhood years at boarding school in Pelham Manor, New York. It contains letters pasted in dried flowers, ribbons, bits of cloth, invitations to dances, birthday telegrams dated 1897; sheet music "The Sailors of the Maine," "Dixieland," to be sung in front of "The New York Journal War Bulletin;" a thick pamphlet entitled "Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World Historical Sketches & Programme," illustrated.
