Inter Fraternity CouncilThe Inter Fraternity Council (IFC), in its earlier days, was the integrating body guiding all the fraternities at the University. Its purpose was "to maintain high standards of fraternity life and inter-fraternity relationships, and to cooperate with the University authorities in their effort to maintain the highest social and scholastic standards." The IFC still exists today and acts as the governing body for the social fraternities on the University campus.
