Spirit at UB

In 1922, the University, for the first time in its history, adjourned all classes for the sake of the student body. As quoted in student publication, The Bee: "The students feel that with a monster parade, big mass meeting and a lively football contest Saturday they will arouse the general public to the fact that Buffalo has a first-class college." That year, the year Chancellor Samuel P. Capen took office, began an new era for the Univeristy of Buffalo.
