Winter Weekend and Carnival

Instead of moaning about the Buffalo snow - in the 1950s-1960s, UB students used the snow to their advantage. Winter Carnival was an anticpated event annually every February. The weekend included events such as a ski fashion show, ice-skating, a snow sculpture contest, skiing contests, an all freshmen talent show, a king and queen contest, a beard growing contest and a jazz concert.
