First you need to download your item selection list from the Web, then you run "Create Myitem File" from the help pull-down menu on DOCS 2000. But first-things-first:
- You need to save your inclusion list from the web, to the directory the label program is in, using the name TEMP.TXT.
- Click here and follow the instructions for option 4. Selections (Y for Yes) and non-selections (N for No), in a single column
- Save it to the directory with your label program and name it TEMP.TXT
- Once the file TEMP.TXT is in your label program's directory, run DOCS 2000 and click on "Help" in the upper left corner of the program. Then click on "Create Myitem File", which reformats the TEMP.TXT file you created and renames it "MYITEMS.TXT".
- You might want to do this every quarter, as your inclusions change. You can also edit the file MYITEMS.TXT, using NOTEPAD, whenever you make a change to your profile.
- If you have been using our previous version of the DOCS program, you already have your inclusion file "MYITEMS.TXT". You just need to copy (or move it) to the directory of "DOCS 2000" and you'll be ready to go!
