Proposal for feedback (distributed on OLAC-LIST on February 23, 2005)

Based on the feedback received on the task force's attempt at a pragmatic compromise on this issue, the perceived high cost-benefit ratio of pursuing a more robust solution, and the state of AACR3/RDA developments at the time, CAPC decided to table further action and rework the proposal into an informational paper that could be submitted to LC for future reference and in case they were interested in acting on this issue. The informational paper was prepared by Paige Andrew, Greta de Groat, and Kelley McGrath, and was sent to LC in July 2007.
