Different printing is understood to mean a later printing (not a reprint edition by a different publisher) of an item which is otherwise identical. Different printing is also understood to include a printing with added or corrected information but without a new or additional copyright date. Treat as a printing date a date which appears on the title page and is repeated as a printing date on the verso. Add to the existing record and use as the date in the call number the same date already being used for other copy(ies) on the same record.
