MICROFILM LABELS
- Match reel count to be sure.
- Match each label to the contents of the box.
- Place label on the box so that it does not cover the title
information. The label can be placed on the LEFT or RIGHT edge of the
box. USE THE LEFT EDGE OF THE BOX WHENEVER POSSIBLE.
- If you could put the label on the title side and the only thing
which might be covered is a designator (vol. or year), you may put the
label there as long as the designator has been typed onto the label.
- If you cannot place the label on the title side, then put it on the
side which is opposite the label. DO NOT PUT THE LABEL ON THE FLAPS
OR ON THE LARGE SIDES OF THE BOX.
- Iron the label onto the box and return it to the drawer WITH THE
CALL NUMBER LABEL FACING UP.
- ALWAYS TRY TO PUT THE LABEL ON THE SIDE WITH THE TITLE. IF YOU ARE
NOT SURE, ASK THE COORDINATOR.
