Any monographic item for the Arts & Sciences Libraries (English or Western European languages with publication date of 1970 or later; Polish, CJK, and AV regardless of date) for which there is no usable copy (usable copy includes CIP of any origin and records for other editions or translations) will be sent. The source of the material can be gifts, document depository, or any means of purchase (firm order receipts, standing orders, blankets, approval, etc.)
Material will be identified upon receipt and processed for TechPro without being placed on the backlog. There should be a brief record for any item sent. Add a 730 to the record "TechPro [yr] [mo]". On the copy holdings, status should be "g" with a copy holdings note "Sent to TechPro" and an action date set for 99 days.
After material is processed for TechPro it should be placed in the designated box in Acquisitions Bib Control. Once a week, Mail and Delivery staff will send material to OCLC. Material will continue to be returned monthly.
