• UB Green has provided marked receptacles for paper recycling at a number of recycling stations across campus including the separate containers in the libraries, cybraries and computer labs. In most cases, these are large blue recycling bins.
  
• Individual offices have small blue recycling containers in lieu of regular waste paper baskets at each desk. Paper should be separated from other waste and placed in the blue containers while garbage and non-recyclable material should be placed in the bag-lined black containers.
  
• Here in CTS, we empty our own paper recycling containers. Large white metal cans are central points for paper recycling and are located throughout the Acquisitions, Cataloging and Preservation departments. There are also large plastic blue recycling cans near the monograph and periodicals receiving areas.
  
• Individuals are responsible for emptying their small blue recycling containers into these larger containers. Members of the recycling team will empty the large white cans into the blue bins located on the loading dock twiceas needed.
  
• All withdrawn books, periodicals and newspapers are recycled. Upon withdrawal and proper stamping, these items should be discarded into the large blue recycling bins located on the loading dock.
  
• NOT ALL PAPER is accepted for recycling. Please see the chart below for a list of recyclable and non-recyclable materials:
