ACTION/ADVENTURE

Straight-out action adventure comics are less popular today than in earlier years. Today, action comics are more likely to be pseudo-super-hero titles (non-super-powered protagonists who wear super-hero style costumes), or they cross-over with other, more popular genres, such as crime, vigilante, science fiction, or horror. Not surprisingly, many of today's action/adventure titles feature scantily-clad heroines in the "babe" or "bad girl" sub-genres.
