North American New Music Festival audio tape collection and catalogue, 1983-1993.

Cassette recordings, produced under Music Department auspices, of most musical works performed during the Festivals are included in the Music Library's Special Collections. The catalog of this audio tape collection, prepared by the Music Library, lists details (composer, title, date of composition, performers) for every work performed at Festival events between 1983 and 1993, in chronological order of event. Music Department notebooks.

The Music Library, in association with the University at Buffalo Music Department and Slee Chamber Hall management, maintains this chronological series of scrapbooks of materials relating to Music Department activities, including printed concert and recital programs, newspaper clippings, special event flyers, news releases, etc.

Archive of the Center of the Creative and Performing Arts.

This Center, operated by the University at Buffalo Music Department from 1964 to 1980, was a major resource program for the study and performance of contemporary music. The print version of its archival finding aid is shelved in the Music Library's general collection as ML 136 B942M819, available online at http://ublib.buffalo.edu/libraries/units/music/spcoll/ccpaarc.html.
Performance series produced and recorded by the Center during this period were Evenings for New Music and Creative Associates Recitals.
