s impressive as the Buffalo Joyce collection is, the scholarship it has fostered, and continues to foster, enriches our understanding of Joyce and his works. Ever since the first consignment of Joyce materials from the La Hune exhibition arrived in Buffalo in 1950, Joyceans have been coming to Buffalo. The work that they have produced has been impressive. And so this exhibition, marking the centennial anniversary of Bloomsday, is dedicated to all those Joyceans who have worked with the Buffalo collection.
